Nitrate reduction: The Filopur CN cartridge allows to reduce the nitrate and nitrite level of the tap water. Harmful NO3 ions are removed from the water through ion-exchange and stored in the resin within the cartridge. Once the capacity of the cartridge is exhausted, the process can be reversed (regeneration of cartridge) so the cartridge can be used again and again. The lifetime of a cartridge is 2 years – an efficient and cost-effective solution!
Area of application: In areas with heavy agricultural exploitation the nitrate level might be above limit due to strong usage of fertilizer.
