Water softener: The Filopur CK cartridge allows to reduce the water hardness of the tap water. Unwanted Ca and Mg ions are removed through ion exchange and stored in the cartridge. Once the capacity of the cartridge is exhausted, the process can be reversed (regeneration of cartridge) so the cartridge can be used again and again. The lifetime of a cartridge is 2 years – an efficient and cost-effective solution!
Heavy metals: The CK cartridge also effectively removes heavy metals from the water. Old metal pipelines (e.g. lead) may emit undesired metals to the water which can be removed by using the CK cartridge.
Area of application: In regions with hard water, to protect the household devices such as coffee machine, kettle or iron.
